New Benefit! Electrical Licensing Database Has Been Released for SBCA Members
The Satelilte Broadcasting and Communications Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce the release of a newly updated and interactive Electrical Licensing Database for satellite installations. The database for existing members may be found under the “Member Benefits” section of our website. Members will be able to view a map of the United States and from there, they will be able to identify states that require licensing via color coding.  Red states require satellite installation licenses, yellow states may not require satellite licensing but may have restrictions that still impact the satellite industry and gray states do not currently have satellite installation requirements.  If you need more information about a state, click on that state which will give you basic information, then click on “View Current State Information”. This will take you to a screen that will provide a list of items needed for the license application process for that state. Also available below the interactive map is terminology which may be helpful in maneuvering through the licensing process in any state. We hope our members will find this to be a valuable resource!
