Dr. Hazel-Anne M. Johnson-Marcus isthe Senior Director for Faculty Diversity & Inclusion, responsible for leading efforts to build a more inclusiveacademic community for faculty at Rutgers–New Brunswick.

A Full Teaching Professor in the Department of Human Resource Management in the School of Management and Labor Relations, Dr. Johnson-Marcus specializes in the content areas of staffing, diversity and inclusion, and the future of work.

A passionate and enthusiastic professor, she strives to engage her students’ critical thinking skills and encourages them to become more socially-responsible citizens within their organizations and our broader society.

She also hosts Faculty ‘Soul-Saving’ Socials, guided by the themes raised in The Black Academic’s Guide to Winning Tenure—Without Losing Your Soul.
