MIT CISR conducts field-based research on issues related to how companies are designing themselves to become successful in the digital economy. Established at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 1974, MIT CISR's mission is to develop concepts and frameworks to help executives address the challenges of leading increasingly dynamic, global, and information-intensive organizations. Nearly all of their research publications are available at no cost to the IT community at large through their website, http://cisr.mit.edu.
