Adrian, our Superstar Hero!

Meet Adrian, a 3rd grader at Bullard Elementary. This year Adrian's target program teacher gave each student $1 and challenged them to 'Make a Difference'. Adrian decided he wanted to help people without homes and specifically he wanted to help children. Researching groups on the internet he came across Family Promise of Cobb County. He printed off pictures and facts from our website and put together a poster board explaining what we do and asking for donations.

Adrian was so excited to share his success in raising $348.09! Our case manager, Louise Sterling presented Adrian with our 'Superstar Hero' Award. Way to go, Adrian for making a difference in our community!!!

Thanks, Center Stage North! Family Promise of Cobb County was honored to be selected as the charity partner for CenterStage North Theatre Give Back to the Community program during their most recent performances of "Things My Mother Taught Me". A great big shout out to all who contributed to the collection of toiletries, socks, detergent, and cash donations to be used to purchase gas cards.
