Join Us in Welcoming Our New Senior Ecotoxicologists, Dwayne Moore and Scott Teed

Dear Carleigh,

We are excited to announce that Dwayne Moore, Ph.D. and Scott Teed have recently joined Stone as Senior Ecotoxicologists. They have been trusted partners for over a decade on ecological risk and endangered species assessments while with Intrinsik. Their expertise and dedication have been instrumental in delivering comprehensive services to our clients. We are now excited to have them on board as permanent members of Stone’s team!

Dwayne Moore, Ph.D. has over two decades of experience in pesticide risk assessment and ecological exposure modeling. He has managed hundreds of projects for government and industry clients, including many screening-level and refined aquatic and/or wildlife risk assessments for pesticides in Canada, the United States, European Union, Latin America, and elsewhere. Dwayne has developed probabilistic exposure and risk models for birds exposed to granular, flowable, seed treatment and bait pesticides. He also created screening-level and probabilistic species-specific models for many threatened and endangered terrestrial species in the United States potentially exposed to flowable pesticides.

Scott Teed brings an impressive 30+ years of technical and scientific expertise in ecological risk assessment (ERA), with 20 years of experience with crop protection products across Canada and the United States. While at Intrinsik, Scott spearheaded ERAs for the registration and re-registration of active ingredients under the US Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Canadian Pest Control Products Act (PCPA). He has also been involved in numerous endangered species risk assessments, navigating the complexities of the US Endangered Species Act (ESA) at both single-species and national levels. His expertise extends to coordinating responses to EPA's biological evaluations and the Services (FWS/NMFS) biological opinions for various pesticides, as well as providing invaluable assistance to registrants and CropLife America on pesticide issues. In addition, Scott has conducted European pesticide risk assessments and has actively participated in pesticide risk assessment efforts in Latin America.

With a combined experience of over 40 years, Dwayne and Scott bring unparalleled expertise in exposure modeling, ecological risk assessment, endangered species risk assessment, pollinator risk assessment, statistics and other areas. Their proficiency in navigating complex regulatory landscapes in Canada, the United States, European Union and elsewhere further strengthens our capabilities to deliver high quality solutions for our clients.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Dwayne and Scott!
