Hello Run Tucson folks from far and wide.
We hope the start of May finds you well. On our end, after hosting 800 folks at the Biosphere 2 for the TMC Earth Day 5k, it's been a busy week.
Randy flew to Texas A&M to teach the RRCA Coaching Course this past weekend, then today he participated in a super-fun Visit Tucson session on welcoming the world to our vibrant community, and tomorrow he's getting on a plane for the RRCA Annual Convention in California, hoping to learn more best practices in run club organization.
Meanwhile, in addition to Tia's individual coaching, Tia is coordinating four group coaching sessions each week, two at the Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club and two at the Rillito fields. On Friday and Saturday we'll be in Phoenix cheering on high school runners at the AZ State Divisional Championships, then on Sunday morning we'll come out to the SAR Cinco de Mayo 10k at Cholla High School.
On top of that, we're also preparing for the June 1st TMC Meet Me Downtown event. Wanna' know what's cookin'?
Check out the news below, with info on the Pueblo Vida Beer Garden, the Yoga Pod stretching zone, Raising Cane's coupons for the youngsters, and more. As you can see in the below Instagram post from our friends at the Downtown Tucson Partnership, Arizona's most popular local running party has something for everyone.
We'll send more info on the team discounts, sponsors, and charity organizations but if you have any immediate questions let us know -- as soon as we catch our breath, we'll help you out!
Cheers all,
--Randy and Tia Accetta, plus the crew at Run Tucson

Finish Line Band: Announcing Legion of Mario as the finish line band at the 2024 TMC Meet Me Downtown 5k Night Run/Walk and Festival of Miles.
You might remember them rockin' out on the main stage at the Mercado Annex after the TMC A-Mountain Half-Marathon. Mario Saravia channels the guitar and vocals of Jerry. Doc Holladay brings his Hammond B-3 to life in a way that would make Melvin proud. Mark Ryan (bass guitar) and Andy Briefer (Drums) hold down the groove and keep the finish line jumping.

|
Yoga Pod Tucson: Our friends from Yoga Pod Tucson will be on hand race night, with a pre-race stretching zone in Armory Park.
From strength to flow, Yoga Pod is the place where you can challenge your body, quiet your mind, and connect with people who will quickly become friends. You’ll find a robust yoga schedule with a wide variety of yoga class styles so you can achieve the yoga experience you’ve been searching for.
