Join us on May 10 at the Beverly Hilton as we gather to honor our champions and raise funds for children impacted by LA County's foster care and juvenile justice systems. Come together to reimagine how we show up to support children and families who need vital resources necessary to thrive.

Meet Our Honorees

"When you see a kid be happy - even if it's just for a moment - when you see a kid find his voice, and use it, and start to feel like they really do belong, that's what keeps me going."

CASA volunteer Dave Stein

Dave Stein has been a CASA volunteer since 2012. His bold, outspoken and caring nature contributed to his role as a CASA for over 12 years.

As a volunteer, he has provided unwavering advocacy and support to nine young men ages 12-21. To this day, he is still in contact with a few of them some of whom are now in their thirties with their own families!

Dave currently serves on the LA County Office of Child Protection committee, working with community partners to provide vulnerable children and families in Los Angeles County with the supports needed to promote their safety and well-being. He continues to advocate for young people in care so they can acquire the necessary skills to allow for a successful transition to adult life - which include better mental health services, community participation, employment opportunities and postsecondary education.

We are pleased to present Dave with our Lifetime Achievement Award at our Reimagine Gala this year!

Join us in celebrating Dave on May 10!
