A Note from Amber

I am so excited to see what this new season holds for us at Mental Health America of the MidSouth as I transition into the role of Executive Director. Over the past six years, I have witnessed the incredible dedication and passion of both our team and our community, and I am honored to lead us into this next chapter.

In a world of constant change, prioritizing one’s mental health is vital. As an organization, we are committed to fostering a culture of support, understanding, and advocacy for improved mental health at all stages of life. During my time at MHA, our organization has made great strides in producing quality education to enhance the knowledge of those experiencing mental health challenges and their loved ones supporting them. Our message has been clear- you are not alone and help is available.

We know that finding the right help at the right time can feel overwhelming, and we are committed to helping bridge that gap to equip our community with the resources and knowledge they need when it matters. Our commitment to mental health advocacy, education, and resiliency is unwavering as we move into this new season.

Warmly,

Amber Hampton, LCSW
