Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Nilda Soto Appointed as Chair of NYS Minority Health Council

Nilda Soto, Assistant Dean in the Office of Diversity Enhancement at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, was recently appointed as Chairperson of the New York State Minorty Health Council. Soto has served on the Council since 2007.  The Council advises the New York State Commissioner of Health on health care issues that affect the lives of racial, ethnic, and other underserved communities, and works with the Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities Prevention to achieve the goal of equal health and health care for all New Yorkers.
