Oops! How to fix a Logging Error
Use the Edit Service Log Wizard
  
It is easy to delete or change a log in the Service Portal. You can find logs that have yet to be exported under the Edit Student Service Log Wizard. When you enter the Edit Wizard, click on Search to see your most recent logs. Select Edit or Delete next to the log to make changes to an individual log. Notify the School Services of Montana office if there is an error on a log that has already exported to DPHHS.

You can also delete a non-billable log, note or absence from the Service Log Wizard. Select the student and choose a date from the same month as the error on the calendar. The next screen will take you to the service type screen where you would record an absence. At the bottom of this screen is a list of the service logs and non-billable notes and absences for the student. Click on the trash can next to the record you wish to delete

Update to the Service Portal

To kick off 2022 we have updated the log in page for our Service Portal. For the update to work correctly, please clear cache/cookies from the browser history. Here is a quick how-to for easy reference. 

Keyboard Shortcut for Most Browsers
If you are using Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox you can quickly clear cache with a keyboard shortcut. While in your browser, press Ctrl + Shift + Delete simultaneously on the keyboard to open the appropriate window.
IMPORTANT: Be sure and close/quit the browser and restart it after clearing the cache and cookies.
  
 
Why Clear Cache and Cookies?
Clearing the Cache and Cookies from a web browser an important first-step for almost any troubleshooting for internet browsing. The 'cache' is a tool used by your internet browser to speed up the page loading process. However, sometimes it can cause a problem when websites are updated and developed as files saved in the cache may conflict with what's actually coded into the website. Clearing Cache and Cookies is a way we can be sure that any issues you may come across are actually something wrong with the website, rather than inconsistencies caused by using different browsers.

Service Portal Tips
Do you have a secure password? You can change your password by selecting My Account in the upper corner of the Service Portal next to your name.
