Formerly General Manager and General Sales Manager – Alberta South, Northeast and Northwest Hubs, Letawsky will remain based in Red Deer and oversee all aspects of Stingray Radio’s business in Alberta. He began his career as an announcer and music director at a Rogers station in Fort McMurray in 1991. | | | |

Before that, she was a City Hall Reporter for the Calgary Herald for a few years, a Star Metro Calgary reporter, and a freelance editor for Maclean's magazine. ...is the new Managing Editor at The Canadian Press (CP). Based in Edmonton, he has been with CP since 2001 when he started with the wire service as a reporter with its Edmonton bureau. He went on to hold the roles of Deputy Bureau Chief, Western Canada and Prairies Bureau Chief. For the last year, he had been serving as Assistant Managing Editor. Cook graduated from the Broadcast Journalism program at Ryerson in 2001. | | | |

...joined Edmonton’s Global News Morning. Previously the weather specialist for Global News at 11, Darlington succeeds long-time weather specialist, Mike Sobel, who retired at the end of December. Darlington’s journalism career began at York University newspaper, Excalibur, before he transitioned to television at Rogers TV in Mississauga as a general assignment reporter. He’s been with Global Edmonton since 2018.

...has retired from his full-time position at Air 106.1 (CFIT-FM) and Discover Airdrie. Leask, who’d been with Air 106.1 for the last six years. Prior to rejoining the company in 2017, Leask previously worked with Golden West as a station manager from 1983 to 2009. He is continuing to work with Golden West Broadcasting part-time as the provincial news announcer for Alberta and Saskatchewan. | | | |

...is retiring after five decades in broadcast news, most recently as VP News & Information at Rogers Sports & Media. Budge spent 19 years as a reporter and senior producer with Citytv Vancouver, followed by stints as News Director at Global and CBC Calgary. He returned to Citytv in 2013 as GM of CityNews Toronto, his current position since 2020. His last day was the end of March.

...joined Global Edmonton as a provincial affairs reporter. Kaisar arrives from a brief stint at CTV where he held the same position. Prior to that, he served as Alberta Legislative Bureau Chief for three years. Before that he was a news anchor and reporter for1310 News, a Rogers Media outlet in Ottawa and a news writer for 580 CFRA with Bell Media, also in Ottawa.

...is the new Editor-in-Chief of J-Source. An assistant professor of journalism at Mount Royal University in Calgary where her research focuses on anti-media discourse. Perdomo is also the host of Spanish-language podcast Periodémica and an editorial board member of Facts and Frictions. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, her work has appeared in Maclean’s and The Tyee. J-Source’s previous Editor-in-Chief, Toronto Metropolitan University assistant journalism professor Sonya Fatah, continues to support J-Source as a board chair. | | | |

...has accepted a promotion as Assistant Program Director for Stingray Rural Alberta, overseeing day-to-day operations of 11 boom and HOT branded stations across the province. He’ll continue to be based out of Camrose and host mornings on New Country 98.1 (CFCW-FM) Camrose. Prior to joining New Country 98.1 in 2020, Mitchell served as Network Music Director for the HOT stations.

...has signed off from CTV Calgary after 16 years and is now a media advisor for Cenovus. Epp had been an anchor and reporter with the station since 2007 when he arrived from CBC News where he’d worked as a reporter, writer and producer in Calgary, Saskatoon and Toronto. He was also a Journalism Ethics Instructor, Journalism Ethics at Southern Alberta Institute of Technology until the end of December 2022.

...is the new host of the Calgary Eyeopener, CBC Calgary’s morning radio show. McGinnis arrives from Yellowknife, where he’s been the morning host of The Trailbreaker on CBC North Radio One in the Northwest Territories, Western Nunavut and Northern Alberta since 2013. McGinnis began his hosting duties on Calgary Eyeopener on December 12, replacing David Gray, who retired in June, 2022.

...left 630 CHED and 880 (CHQT-FM) Edmonton to join Global Edmonton as an Associate News Producer. The SAIT Radio & Television Broadcasting grad has been anchoring, reporting and producing with the stations since Jan. 2020. She graduated from the broadcasting program in 2019 after completing an internship as a morning show host at Boom 104.9 FM, a Stingray station in Hinton.
