Greetings!
Over the past 10 Years, McGuire Goaltending has become one of Canada's Premiere Goaltending Training School's.
We currently train goaltenders year round at all levels of hockey including Adults, Beginners, House League A, AA, AAA, Jr, CIS, NCAA & NHL.
McGuire Goaltending is constantly updating their drills and remain dedicated to educating themselves and discovering the newest and most effective ways to teach goaltenders.
The methods used for each goalie is not based on a specific style, but on the needs of the individual.
On top of the technical improvements on their overall skills, each goaltender will also experience an improved sense of confidence that will help them both on and off the ice during the 2012 - 2013 Season.

This is one of the best ways to increase a goalies confidence and skills.
Goaltenders are placed in groups of 2 or 3 and attention is focused on each individual goaltenders needs.
These lessons are a great way to maximize a goaltenders potential.
Goalies will receive instruction on the most progressive and up to date save techniques with a focus on building strong fundamentals through muscle memory and positive reinforcement.
Instant Results - After only 1 session you will see a dramatic difference in a goalies ability to move in the crease.
For best results consider a package of 10, 15 or 20 sessions.

During the 11 - 12 season, McGuire Goaltending provided goalie coaches for over 50 teams in the GTHL + OMHA.
Goaltenders repeat bad habits during team practices when they are not being watched by a professional goalie coach. It is just to hard for the team coach and assistants to focus on the development of the entire team and also help the goaltenders.
Our coaches come to your practice and will ensure that your teams goalies are constantly improving during the season.
Ideally our instructors would be able to have "Blue Line In" for at least 30 - 45 minutes alone with the goalies and then if needed you can incorporate them into the rest of the practice.

MGHD Oshawa Division
Professional Goaltender Training for Durham Region
We are proud to announce the opening of a McGuire Goaltending Division in Oshawa, Ontario.
This division will be run by MGHD Head Goaltending Instructor, Rob Heholt. Rob is a native of Oshawa and has been a Head Goaltending Instructor at McGuire Goaltending for the past 7 years. During this past season Rob was the goalie coach for dozens of minor hockey teams. In the past he has worked with Goaltenders at every level of the game, including OHL, AHL, NHL, CIS, CWHL, NCAA.
Rob has been the Goalie Coach for the York Lion's Women's Team since 2009 as well as the Assistant Coach of the World Champion, Canadian Men's Standing Amputee National Team since 2008.

``Our objective is to provide consistant Professional Goaltender Training and slowly build a client base in Durham Region. Our main McGuire Goaltending Camps will still be held in Toronto until we feel our growth in Durham can support Summer, Christmas and March Break Camps. I am excited about the opportunity to grow and to provide a place where goalies of all ages and levels come to train. Having grown up in the Durham Region I thought this was a perfect place to start my business and am looking forward to the challange``
