MAYOR DEMINGS' DIGEST

Greetings,

What a wonderful time to live, work and play in Orange County! As our cool winter nights transition into warm spring days, now is the perfect time to head outdoors with your loved ones and enjoy all the natural beauty our County has to offer. I encourage everyone to take advantage of our beautiful parks, trails and recreation centers located throughout our community. Whether you have recently moved to the area or have lived here for decades, there is always something new to discover when visiting one of our vibrant municipalities and neighborhoods. If music is what you enjoy, then plan on attending the 11th Annual Mayor’s Jazz in the Park event at Cypress Grove Park in Orlando.

This month, we also recognize the women trailblazers and business leaders who have made a difference around the globe and in our region during Women’s History Month. Join us for Orange County’s inaugural Women’s History Month Forum and experience an insightful discussion featuring stories of strength, struggle and success from women who have lived it.

Finally, I invite you to join the Orange County Veteran’s Advisory Council as we honor and pay tribute to our local Vietnam War veterans and their spouses for their service and valor during a special pinning ceremony on National Vietnam War Veterans Day.

I wish everyone the best,

Jerry L. Demings - Orange County Mayor
