Tab the Library Turtle's First Birthday Party

May 8 @ 4:00 - 5:00 pm

Join us as we celebrate the first birthday of Tab, the Library Turtle, who moved into the library on April 15, 2023. We will serve light refreshments and host casual games for the whole family. Walk-ins welcome. Register to participate in Turtle Trivia for prizes. Turtle Trivia will begin at 4:15 p.m. and requires a mobile device or other internet-connected device.

An Evening of Celtic Music with Áine Minogue

Recent Projects in Astronomy

Some recent projects in astronomy will be presented in this evening talk by Bob Reich. The three areas that will be described are: Transiting Exoplanet Satellite Survey (TESS); the search for exo-planets orbiting stars, OSIRIS-Rex; the mining of an asteroid, and adaptive optics for removing blur from ground-based telescope images
