To kick off Mental Health Awareness Month, Good Morning America highlights the national state of emergency in children's mental health and how The REACH Institute is working to solve this crisis. The number of children needing help is skyrocketing but there is a lack of mental health care providers to help them. With your support, REACH is working to expand access to quality mental health care for all children and families, by providing evidence-based mental health training to primary care providers across the U.S. and Canada. Also, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are making sure that both caregivers and primary care providers have FREE resources to address the mental health needs of their families and communities. See below for links to these resources.
We are now entering the fifth year of our Scholarship Program, which helps to offset the cost of training for providers who work with under-resourced, high-need populations. One REACH-trained provider has the capacity to treat 250 children struggling with mental health issues every year. During this month of May, our goal is to raise $55,000 to award 25 new scholarships in 2023. If you would like to donate to the REACH Scholarship Program please Click Here.
Thank you for your support!
