TIME FOR SUMMER READING!
It's almost summer and we are getting ready for our Summer Reading program!

Sign up for yourself or your entire family starting on May 1st at our website, www.wagnallslibrary.org. There is no cost to participate this year.

For adults and teens entering grade 9 and up, we will be holding weekly gift certificate drawings for participants. There will be two ways to get prize drawing entries. First, there will be a weekly scavenger-hunt type activity outside and/or inside the library. Complete the activity for an entry. Second, for each book you read, submit a brief book review on our website for an entry.

The Summer Reading program will run on June 23 - July 29. Weekly activities will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

MYSTERY BOOK CLUB
FIRST MEETING...
Thursday, June 10th, 7:00-8:00pm in the Loft

It’s coming…a new, mysterious, suspenseful, thrilling book club for patrons of the Wagnalls Memorial Library and their friends!

It will begin on Thursday evening, June 10th, at 7 o’clock in The Loft at the library. At this get-acquainted meeting, we’ll talk about books we love, and we’ll pick a title for our July discussion.

You’re welcome to bring a favorite beverage, including adult-only, to enjoy while we talk.

If your favorite genres are mystery, suspense, and/or thriller, this is the book club for you! Contact Lissie at mscherer@wagnalls.org if you want to join.
WAGNALLS BOOK CLUB
NEXT MEETING...
Thursday, May 27th, 7:00-8:00pm in the Loft.
This month, we will be reading The Confession Club by Elizabeth Berg.

When a group of friends in Mason, Missouri, decide to start a monthly supper club, they get more than they bargained for. The plan for congenial evenings—talking, laughing, and sharing recipes, homemade food, and wine—abruptly changes course one night when one of the women reveals something startlingly intimate. The supper club then becomes Confession Club, and the women gather weekly to share not only dinners but embarrassing misdeeds, deep insecurities, and long-held regrets.

Book available for check-out in the library. Contact Lissie at mscherer@wagnalls.org with questions.
