TTP CALENDAR

Midlands Gives 2024 - May 7th

This annual, online giving day, MIDLANDS GIVES, has helped us for the past 10 years raise the funds that have provided for the purchase of the rubberized surface on our playground, our family support conference room, our indoor sensory playground, and much more!

WHAT ARE WE RAISING MONEY FOR?

Our goal this year is to raise $40,000 to fund commercial grade playground equipment system the "Butler Overlook" ($30,000) in order to benefit the most children safely and inclusively.

In addition, we would like to increase the number of swings (our most popular activity) from 2 swings to 5. This will require the 2 bay swing set ($2,600) and 2 new ADA swing seats ($500 each). For this new arrangement, we will also need 7 rubber mats ($100 each) to go under each swing and slide. We're also hoping to replace our shade sails! It's almost summer so this is the perfect time to upgrade and refresh our playground!

POWER HOUR DID YOU ASK?

f you give between the hours of 6-10am on May 7, you're helping us win the $2,000 prize from Schmoyer and Company for the organization with the largest number of unique donors during the "Get Up and Give" segment of the day. Every donation counts! The minimum donation is only $10! We have two matching gifts this year! The Cheerful Giver through the Central Carolina Community Foundation ($5,000) and an anonymous donor ($10,000) have generously provided a matches for up to $15,000! So we're practically halfway there!

Thank you for your support!

May is Speech Therapy Month!

We're so appreciative of all of our Speech Language Pathologists!

Be sure to thank Leah, Jenna, Catherine, Sabria, Jackie and Ashley this month for helping your child with articulation, communicating, social activities, feeding or any of the other many activities an SLP provides!

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10th!

We appreciate the hard work of Lindsey, Morgan and Marlyssa - our Bridges Preschool teachers who work hard every day to get your children ready for kindergarten!

REMINDER:  Those with commercial insurance AND Medicaid, please continue to bring in your EOB's and any checks for therapy services.

May Therapy Reminders:

  • Please remember to arrive to your child’s therapy session to pick up your child 10 minutes prior to his/her session ending as this allows our therapists time to come out and give you an update on progress and what to work on at home. Home exercise programs are REQUIRED as a component for all insurance coverage.
  • Please call Brooke at the front desk if there needs to be any schedule changes and we will do our best to try and accommodate if possible. Please be aware that we have a new phone system so it may sound a little different.
