Most clinics only accept self paying clients including us. This is due to the unfortunate control that insurance companies have as ketamine infusions for mental health and chronic pain is still considered "off label". They use this classification to deny reimbursement for most portions of the treatment. The cost can be discouraging as we see the dramatic effectiveness of infusion therapy.
That's why we have decided to seek partial coverage with some of the major insurance providers. We are currently working on contracts with Blue Shield, The Veterans Administration, and Kaiser. Once those are in place we will proceed with others every month.
