The Scott Gallacher Memorial Spray and Play Park is almost open for the season! This fun feature is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend with hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 7 days a week. The Scott Gallacher Memorial Spray and Play Park is weather dependent and may be closed during heavy wind or rain and will always be closed in the event of thunder and/or lightning. www.keypenparks.com/splash-pad

Let's Bring 360 Trails Home! The deadline to show your support for a transfer of ownership of 360 Trails from DNR to Key Pen Parks has been extended to May 31st. www.keypenparks.com/tlt

Celebrate our 20th Anniversary with us! Save the date for June 22nd from 3pm to 7pm! Community Engagement

Pierce County Launches a Parks and Recreation Scholarship Program

"Pierce County Parks and Recreation announced the launch of the brand-new Pierce County Parks Scholarship Program! Now, Pierce County residents with limited incomes can access County recreational programs like never before.

Scholarships are awarded based on income and family size. Eligible individuals or families may receive a credit of up to $300 per household per scholarship type. This financial assistance is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available. The scholarship programs being offered are:

Specialized Recreation Scholarship (all ages with disabilities): 100% off fees for any specialized recreation programs offered through the Adventure within Reach.
General youth scholarships (ages 3-21): 50% off registration fees for youth programs like sports camps, arts, nature camps and more.
Summer LIFE Scholarship (ages 13-17): Free weekly field trips for the Summer LIFE experiential learning program series."
