GiveNOLA Day

Every year, GiveNOLA Day makes a huge impact on our program. This is a day when so many show up to support our young men and women with gifts large and small. Last year, your support on GiveNOLA Day provided a renovated kitchen for our Boys Hope home -- incredible!

This year, we need your help to fund a critical piece of our family program, a vehicle. Whether your gift is $10 or $200, you will make a daily impact on the lives of scholars who need transportation to school, church, practice, work, the dentist, and even prom in a few weeks!

Will you make critical transportation possible for Boys Hope Girls Hope scholars?

Will you give a gift for GiveNOLA Day?

Early giving is open now.

Scholar Updates

Mariam's Graduation Countdown

Mariam is about to graduate from St. Mary's Dominican High School! She has been enjoying all of the senior year celebrations and counting down the days. As her

college acceptance list continues to grow, she is working with staff to see which school might be the best fit for her academically, socially, and of course, financially. Stay tuned!

The Boys Head to Jackson

Boys Hope recently headed to Jackson, MS because Greg was invited to attend the Millsaps College Football Coaches Showcase and while they were in town, they also made a visit to Jackson State University since it is on Kevaun’s college list!

Sherell’s Ring Ceremony

Sherell is headed to senior year! Booker T. Washington had their ring ceremony and Sherell was so excited to hit this milestone and celebrate the next step

towards graduation!

Keshaun’s Play

Keshaun performed in the Jesuit Spring Musical "Guys and Dolls" as Rustie Charley. We are incredibly proud of Keshaun for another outstanding performance!

Track Boys

Kevaun and Stephen just wrapped up a successful track season with the Brother Martin Crusaders. These young men worked hard on and off the track and it showed throughout the season!

Spring Events Recap

Réveillon

Barton and Sacha Wax generously hosted this year's Réveillon in their beautiful home. The night was filled with delicious food from Sandy Duplantier and his chef team, overflowing with wine, beer and a bourbon bar, which was all complimented by live music and chargrilled oysters under string lights!

Another huge thank you to our amazing Host group, who made it all happen!

Team Run for Hope

Thanks to everyone who ran the CCC10k in support of Boys Hope Girls Hope this year! Ernst & Young was a generous sponsor! Runners (including Kevaun and staff member Tracy) enjoyed special BHGH gear and a beautiful day in the city!

Junior Board Pickleball Tournament

The spring tournament was held at 1st Street Racquet Club, hosting 16 teams and plenty of spectators who enjoyed great raffles, tasty food, and delicious specialty drinks!

Hogs for the Cause

The BHGH Junior Board volunteered as bartenders throughout the Hogs for the Cause festival in order to raise funds for our dedicated scholars. All that hard work paid off!
