Hello cosplayers and cosplay appreciators!
My name is Ariana Shae and I just started this new business with my mom, Bobbi Lynn. She is the professional seamstress and I am the cosplayer. Together, we have lots of fun stuff in store for you!
In addition to costumes, we also design and create fun clothing and outfits for everyday wear. Many of these are inspired by video games or shows, so they are perfect for showing off your interests with a subtler approach!
We would also love to feature a section in our newsletter with you! If you want to show off pictures in our costumes, please send them to us! Also, if you make any costumes yourself, we would love to see it! Just email us the picture and state that you would like it featured in our upcoming newsletter. If it isn’t our costume, please also tell us who to give the credit for making it.
We focus on the sewing part of costumes, so any prop making you guys do to complement our costumes would be amazing to see. Enjoy our newsletter and happy cosplaying!
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact us at: arishaecosplay@gmail.com
Also feel free to share this newsletter or forward it to your friends.

In this month's letter, we have new products, our first monthly pokemon cosplay, some upcoming events and a project for you!
Here are our new products for May
Ashe from League of Legends
Ashe is now available for sale!
I had a lot of fun with this cosplay and did a full photoshoot. I plan on going to a convention as her this month as well.
Follow us on facebook for more pictures from the shoot and the future convention pictures I'll be posting!
In the shop, the costume will include top, skirt, arm bands, bicep bands, boot covers, thigh highs, hood, cape, and shoulder pieces.
Sailor Moon can be done in any colors if you want to mix things up or do any of the other sailor scouts!
This costume comes with the Sailor Moon dress, front bow, back bow, and gloves. Check out our etsy or facebook page for more pics!
Ash Ketchum can be made for men and women sizes. He can be perfect for group cosplays with pokemon or just by himself!
Check it out in the shop or on facebook for more photos!
In this costume, we have the gloves, jacket, and hat for sale. Pair with jeans and a black shirt for the perfect look! Also, we will be selling hats by themselves in our shop.
Haruko and Naota from FLCL
We have full cosplays for Haruko and Naota from FLCL. Also, feel free to ask for specific pieces! Shown to the right here is Haruko's outfit and this includes the hat, undershirt, shirt, shorts, and socks. We will have an individual listing available for just the hat in our etsy shop as well.
And here is Naota. We can do the sweatshirt in thick sweatshirt fabric for accuracy or we have a lighter and thinner material to help you stay cool at the convention. The one you see to the right is made from the thinner, cooler fabric.
Feel free to specify which one you would like. We can include the brown shorts for the full cosplay or you can just get the sweatshirt shown which includes the yellow lining and functional drawstring.

And here are two new items for our clothing line:
Pokemon Cosplay of the Month!
Every month we will be releasing a new Pokémon inspired cosplay. Our goal is to complete the Kanto Pokedex!
This costume includes the dress, tail, arm bands, thigh highs, and ears. Check out our Ash Ketchum costume too if you are cosplaying with a friend!
Here you can see the pieces of the costume much better. The tail also is removable for easy travel or if you just want to wear the dress on its own!
The tail is secured on with a base and multiple snaps and a wire on the inside of the tail. It is removeable for easy washing. Also, the top part connects to the top of the dress with an invisible string to ensure it stays up all day.

Prancing around the woods dressed like pikachu was fun, but I'm excited to also wear this to MegaCon in Florida this month.
The monthly pokemon cosplay will be going on for a very long time. Next month will be water themed! Any guesses? We will be posting progress pictures soon on facebook so keep an eye out!

May’s Project for you!
To go with the theme of kick starting our monthly pokemon goal, we’ll have a pokeball pin cushion project.
Click here to get the pattern.
Sew each white piece to each red piece along the center sew line.
Press the seams open.
Sew the black pieces along the dotted lines on the pattern.
This entire project, everything gets sewn right sides together and seams are 1/4 inch.
Flip the black pieces so they are right side out, use a safety pin to help flip them
Iron everything flat and add a white button as shown. The button in our pin cushion is hand sewn on.
Place one black piece over each of the red and white pieces, then sandwich them right sides together.
Pin and sew leaving an opening near the bottom.
Flip right side out through the opening. We now have one black piece to each side.
Stuff! We used polyester fiberfill (polyfil) to fill ours but feel free to use alternative stuffing.
Hand sew the opening closed.
Finished! We have our pin cushion. You can also use the same methods to make one in a larger size for a pillow.
Thank you for your interest in our business! I hope you enjoy our future newsletters and products!
Even for those of you who do not plan to cosplay, I hope that Bobbi Lynn and I are able to provide you with fun projects and photos to look through.
