We are one-third of the way though 2024,

and have so much to celebrate!

Our chamber family has grown by 26 new members, we've received 62 renewals, performed 10 ribbon cuttings, and hosted 7 networking events & luncheons that were attended by a total of 159 people! 

We currently have 71 businesses whose memberships are overdue.

Our social media engagement has increased exponentially over the past few months, and we are well on our way to 5,000 followers!

Time is running out to register for the May 17th Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament! There is still room for a few more teams in the 2:00pm flight, so get yourself and your friends signed up before the spots are all filled up!

Team Sponsorships include registration for a Team of 4, plus your business's signage at one of the holes. Individual players can register for $125 each. All players will receive a swag bag, lunch provided by Credit Union of Texas, and drinks all day!

The Bonham Area Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)6 Nonprofit Organization. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the valued members of the Chamber through marketing and events throughout the year.

Please join us in recognizing those that gave the ultimate sacrifice on Memorial Day, Monday May 27th at the Sam Rayburn Memorial Veteran's Hospital at 1201 E. 9th St Bonham, TX for our inaugural Walk of Honor.

We will gather at the walking trail, east of the main building at 10:00am for the pledge and invocation, followed by a somber walk to honor loved ones. We encourage you to bring a photo of those you are honoring on your walk.

The Chamber will provide small flags for you to carry and take home. Following the walk you will be given an opportunity to share memories of your loved one(s).

Submissions of events or recognitions to be considered for inclusion in the monthly newsletter are due by the 20th of the previous month.

The American Veteran Traveling Tribute & the Traveling Wall will be on display for Veterans and the public on May 1st at 5pm until May 2nd at 4pm at the Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham. 

The display includes the 140-panel Traveling Vietnam Wall, The Afghanistan & Iraq Warrior Tribute, the 9-11 Tribute and much more.
