Save the Date: Loving Day

Celebration on June 8th

Celebrate Loving Day at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Saturday June 8th! The International Center, in partnership with Pacers Sports and Entertainment and former Mayor Greg Ballard, will host an event honoring the landmark Supreme Court decision: Loving V. Virginia in 1967. 

In recognizing the historical significance of the Loving verdict, the event will be a day to celebrate married couples and will include vow renewals, officiated by former Mayor Greg Ballard. 

The event will take place June 8th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with doors opening at 12:30 pm.

The International Center Receives

Excellence in Global Leadership Award

We are thrilled to announce that The International Center has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious 2024 Excellence in Global Leadership award. Presented annually by Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in conjunction with the Global Leadership Institute at SMWC and the Ph.D. in Global Leadership program, this esteemed award recognizes organizations that demonstrate outstanding commitment to advancing the field of global leadership.

The International Center has been recognized for its exceptional contributions to professional development initiatives, including the Morris Global Leadership Series, relocation services, international visitor programs, and community engagement efforts. The Indianapolis Colts are expanding their footprint in Germany & Austria!

“After seeing the appetite for American football firsthand this past fall in Frankfurt, we are more than excited to expand the reach of the Horseshoe internationally," said Colts Owner & CEO Jim Irsay. “In Germany and Austria, we’ve found vibrant markets that make sense for our club, but that also will provide more international exposure and connections for our partners, Indiana businesses and many more across the state.”
