Greetings all and Happy Cinco de Mayo,
What a busy time we had last month. I hope everyone had a nice Easter celebration. Our Easter Egg hunt on Saturday was booked full and it looks  like next year we will be expanding so more families will be able to share in our fun. Our Tarot and Oracle Expo was such a success that all vendors have already signed up to return next year plus several more on a waiting list. Can't wait to see what next year's Expo will bring us. Thanks to all who visited us on Earth Day. Because of you, we were able to donate even more this year to the Rainforest Partnership supporting their efforts in helping to keep our planet greener.
A shout out to all our new customers and our fellow booth vendors at the Waco Gem and Mineral show this past wee kend. Everyone was most gracious and helpful with our first time needs and we really enjoyed meeting so many new people. Over all, a much enjoyed first trip to Waco. That same weekend we hosted our first jewelry trunk sale with Starborn Creations and learned trunk sales could be a great way to introduce you, our customers, to some of our more exclusive vendors with specialty pieces and products so you can see and have the opportunity to buy one-of-a-kind exclusive products. How exciting!
This month, let's be sure to share the love by remembering all who gave their lives in battle so we can continue to progress in our own personal growth and developments. Also, remember the second most important day we celebrate every year is Mother's Day, on Sunday, the13th of this month. We all have a Mother to celebrate and love because we all have Mother Earth to cradle, love and protect us, so embrace love on this day and be sure to share with others.

Moctezuma Agate - from Chihuahua Province and is an old time favorite but with very low yield from cutting rough.
Silica is the key component to agate formation since it belongs to the quartz family made up of SiO2. Because of their beauty and durability, agates have been used since the Neolithic as tools, jewelry, tableware and decor for thousands of years. Although agate has been used for ages, new world agates have only been mined recently and many varieties are mined out.

Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve is a 5,500-acre ranch in Blanco County that has been restored to its original habitat. Our mission is to teach ethical land stewardship - by example and outreach. We offer seminars for landowners and serve as a research lab for botanists, zoologists, and other scientists. We provide hands-on science classes and nature camps for school children. Our public tours and workshops attract birdwatchers, photographers, and animal and plant enthusiasts.
After leaving the Ranch, many visitors are inspired to change consumption habits and better conserve natural resources. They leave with a vision of harmony with the land. They realize that the Ranch tells a story of hope: Given the chance, Nature can heal itself. Nature can heal us.
