We want to thank all of those that were able to attend this year's MASWA Spring Luncheon, and of course a HUGE shout out to our fabulous sponsors!  We hope you were able to enjoy the networking opportunities that were presented.  Just a friendly reminder, there will not be a May membership meeting this month due to the luncheon, see below for details.

Thanks to our Members-at-Large for planning and carrying out the Spring Luncheon and Annual Meeting.  It was amazing!  The venue was beautiful, the food was great, and the speaker was first rate.  
 
We are starting a new year for the Board of Directors on June 1, 2017.  We are really excited to get going with our new board members.  We will be planning our summer retreat at our first board meeting in June.  The retreat gives us the time to set forth new goals for the coming year.  With new board members we really look forward to their input.  I believe new people bring new fresh ideas and revitalize the board.  This should be a great year.
 
I want to thank all of you for your ongoing support of MASWA.  This is your association and we rely on your input to make this a successful year!

DonationMASWA donates $3000.00 to Little Brothers -
Friends of the Elderly  
 
James Falvey, Executive Director of Little Brothers - Friends of the Elderly accepted the donation at the MASWA Spring Luncheon and Annual Meeting on May 11, 2017 at the Plymouth Creek Community Center. 
 
Mr. Falvey addressed the luncheon attendees sharing information on the Little Brothers mission, history, and new initiative to provide "friendship" services by volunteers.  He expressed his gratitude, and we felt he would put the donation to good use to carry out their mission.
