Recap of NEXT With Kyle Clark "Word of Thanks" Giving Campaign
In April, Denver 9 News Anchor Kyle Clark announced that N2N was selected as "Word of Thanks" charity. A tradition that began during the pandemic, this news segment is Kyle's way to help crowd source support for local nonprofits. Each week, he introduces a different Colorado-based charity, and encourages viewers to support the cause by matching their first five hundred $5 donations.

We were honored and grateful for the opportunity to share word of how this community is working hard to keep neighbors housed and were blown away by the wonderful outpouring of support! To date, 727 donors have contributed - with gifts ranging from $5 to $1,050. To sweeten the deal, NeighborWorks America offered a $25,000 match gift, which we are happy to announce has been met!

This came at such a critical time for our community. As anticipated, state and federal COVID-related programs had expired, which accounted for 84% of N2N's emergency rent assistance funding. Yet neighbors are still struggling. This opportunity allowed us to continue helping as many neighbors as possible while advocating for additional funding to help strengthen our community for the new reality we now face.

We are thankful for every supporter who gave to our Word of Thanks Giving Campaign, as well as each new friend who believed in our mission and gave knowing their gift would help a NoCo neighbor in need.
Special Delivery

Executive Director Kelly Evans recently recruited two N2N Youth Enrichment Club Members, Lynn and Josh, to assist with a special field trip - the selection of three baby chicks for her home flock. The trio then stopped by the Fort Collins office to give staff and visitors a little chick fix!

Successful 2nd Annual Morning Meet & Eat Event
On May 10, Loveland friends, partners and supporters gathered for a quick breakfast meet and greet, followed by an engaging presentation from The Group Real Estate CEO Brandon Wells, who wowed the crowd with an in-depth analysis of historic and current day housing market trends. N2N Philanthropy Manager Brooke Cunningham followed with an update on N2N's work in the Loveland area, as well as current opportunities for guests to get involved.

This year's event required an upgrade in space, and we couldn't be more pleased. Thanks again to all who came out in support, asked questions, and inquired about opportunities to join our Loveland Advisory Board. If you're interested in learning more, please reach out to Philanthropy Coordinator Sarah Mendez at smendez@n2n.org.
