Do you know about Pact’s Center for Race and Adoption Focused Therapy for California residents?

We provide BIPOC adopted youth ages 3-26 in California and their families with high-quality therapy services, online and in-person at our Emeryville office.

We know that finding the right therapist can be difficult, and finding someone who really “gets” the intersections of adoption, race, and parenting is critical to adoptees and their families.

We encourage interested families to complete the inquiry form now, as we typically have a waiting list and use the list to serve clients as openings become available.
QWOCMAP creates, exhibits, and distributes high-impact films that authentically reflect the lives of queer women of color (cisgender & transgender), and gender variant and transgender people of color (of any orientation), and address the vital, intersecting social justice issues that concern our multiple communities.

OFC is partnering with QWOCMAP to provide childcare for film goers and we need providers! If you are willing to spend time with wonderful kiddos while their caregivers enjoy the festival we'd love to have you. You can choose one or many of the following times. Compensation is $20/hr, refreshments provided.

  • FRIDAY, JUNE 9 – 6:30pm to 10pm

VIRTUAL: Postpartum Parent Peer Support Group | 6p - 8p

Becoming a parent is a massive transformation. Be in a space with LGBTQ folks who've given birth to talk about some of the challenges of the postpartum period, and provide peer support for one another while parenting during such a challenging historical moment. Our group meets every fourth Wednesday of the month from 6P-8P via Zoom.

Date: 05/24

Location: Virtual
VIRTUAL: Non-Bio/Non-Gestational Parent Peer Support Group | 6p-8p

Parenting is a journey unto itself, but for so many LGBTQ+ families it means making some compromises, sacrifices, and a lot of planning.
For non-biological and/or non-gestating parents, there are a series of gender, familial, and societal shifts that are often hard to navigate. We hope that by holding space for a peer-led support group conversation, parents that are non-bio/non-gestating can share their highs, lows, tips, and tools, and other caregivers will have the resources they need to build their family with even greater support.

Our group meets every fourth Thursday of the month from 6P-8P via Zoom.

Date: 05/25

Location: Virtual
