Do I Need to Tint All of the Windows in My Home or Business?

We get asked this question all the time. No, you do not have to tint all of your windows. Certain rooms may benefit more than others based on your solar exposure. The more sun that comes through the windows, the more energy savings you will get from the film. If you can only afford to do a few, focus on the South- and West-facing first. The name says it all! Swing by Clesi’s to enjoy some fresh boiled crawfish, or call them to come cook for you!

BOIL Seafood House

Try Vietnamese-style (what the Louisianans are calling Viet-Cajun) crawfish loaded with garlic butter at BOIL on Magazine Street. A second location called Hieux BOIL Seafood House is in Mid-City.

Blue Crab

Get some fresh air and enjoy boiled crawfish on Lake Pontchartrain at Blue Crab. Wash them down with a frozen cocktail!

Cowboy Baked Beans

Not your usual baked beans! Green chiles and hot pepper sauce give zest to these eat-'em up sweet-and-hot baked beans. This recipe is a perfect side dish for your cookouts! Never hurts to sneak a little bacon and/or chopped bell pepper in there too!

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
4 (16 ounce) cans baked beans
1 (4 ounce) can of chopped green chile peppers
1 small Vidalia onion, peeled and chopped
1 cup barbeque sauce
½ cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
3 tablespoons hot pepper sauce (or to taste

Directions

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink; drain fat, and set aside.
In a 3 1/2 quart or larger slow cooker, combine the ground beef, baked beans, green chiles, onion and barbeque sauce. Season with brown sugar, garlic powder, chili powder and hot pepper sauce. Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or low for 4 to 5 hours.
