Dear  Coaches!

Warm weather is in the air and that can only mean one thing - swimming outside!!! There are so many swimming opportunities, including our NEW Open Water series this summer! There is the fan favorite Glennie on August 18,  a new Long Course pool meet in Connecticut the last weekend in May, and perennial favorites like the LC Jenny Thompson pool meet. Also, NEM's The Monster Meet is a fun themed meet where swimmers can try out a "monster" pentathlon course coming up on May 19 and a just announced meet at the beautiful Boston University pool on May 25. Read about all of these great summer events and more by viewing our Calendar. Please share these events with your swimmers!

Fun Freestyle Set!

Challenging Ladder - mental and physical!

Here is a fun ladder to challenge both sprinter and pace swimmers. The purpose of this set is to really push your HARD 50s and work through active recovery. It is meant to be a freestyle set, but you could easily use the fast 50s as a focus stroke, so long as you do ALL of the 50s the same stroke.

ALL hard 50s are on :05 rest, and the Easy are on :15rest. This also makes for a nice set to balance abilities across the whole pool.

1 x 50 hard 3 x 50 ez

2 x 50 hard 3 x 50 ez

3 x 50 hard 3 x 50 ez

4 x 50 hard 3 x 50 ez

5 x 50 hard 3 x 50 ez

Please reach out to me at any time with any coaching needs you may have! I am here to help and assist in making your team as fun as possible!
