Hosted by The Foundation for Delaware County, this 24-hour county-wide celebration of giving invites donations to nonprofits via delcogives.org. The event will culminate with a community celebration of Delco’s community spirit and generosity at Rose Tree Park (4:30pm-7:00pm) on May 9. This festive, family-friendly event will feature carnival games, food trucks, free ice cream, and special appearances from local mascots including the Phillie Phanatic, Gritty, and Phang.

Trout fishing makes its anticipated return to Newlin Grist Mill, offering a cherished tradition for anglers and nature enthusiasts. Amidst the scenic backdrop of historic charm, visitors can cast their lines and rekindle the timeless joy of pursuing the elusive trout. The park allows pond fishing on weekends only, Saturdays and Sundays. No fishing license is needed, but there are fees.



This year marks a jubilant celebration for one of Delco's finest horticultural treasures: the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College. Established in 1929 and spanning over 350 acres, this arboretum is consistently recognized as one of the nation's most stunning campuses. With its rolling hills, blossoming trees, and scenic trails, it is a serene retreat for students and visitors alike.
