It was a wonderful evening full of great food, great conversations, great cocktails and great people. On April 24th, our Young Leaders volunteered for Feed America, showing their commitment to making a positive impact in our community. They also had a tour of Baptist Health Hardin Bardstown location Family Medical Practice, gaining valuable knowledge about healthcare. The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber held another New Member Meet & Greet on April 24th. In the meetings, members learn about (all things chamber) such as benefits, sponsorship opportunities, events, and rolls of chamber employees.

On April 19th, the BNCC Young Professionals Network held its 3rd event of the year at Evergreen Liquors. The evening started out with networking and appetizers from Scout & Scholar Brewing Co.. Following that, Woody from Maker's Mark Distillery led a phenomenal bourbon tasting/education course on how their bourbon is made and a little history of the company. Lastly, we heard Mike from Evergreen Liquors talk about the stores history and family legacy. Crystal from Evergreen Liquors ended the night with a scavenger hunt in the store which led to 3 lucky YP's walking away with gifts sponsored by Evergreen Liquors.
We want to give a huge thank you to Evergreen Liquors for sponsoring this wonderful event. To Maker's Mark Distillery for taking the time to come speak with us, and to Scout & Scholar for the delicious food!

The Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize Barton 1792 Distillery as the Spotlight of the Month.
Barton 1792 Distillery was established in 1879 and continues today as the oldest fully-operating distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky. Situated in the heart of bourbon country on 196 acres, the property boasts 31 barrel aging warehouses, a historic stillhouse, and large bottling operation that employs over 500 people. The distillery continues to produce award-winning bourbon and is the brand homeplace of 1792, Very Old Barton, Thomas S Moore, and Early Times.
