Time For A Tour

The exciting transformation of the Media Campus is underway with the construction of the new Post Secondary Student Transition Center project. This ambitious project will transform an existing building adjacent to the main school into a hub equipped with cutting-edge facilities designed to revolutionize student experiences. Ready for the 2024 - 2025 academic year, the new center will support up to 100 students between the ages of 18 and 22.

At the heart of Elwyn’s program is its innovative approach, which incorporates real-world simulations across diverse areas including food service, cashiering, technology, warehouse operations, and retail. This unique blend of practical training environments is complemented by an apartment and recreation room to foster skills in independent living. These elements set Elwyn’s program apart, offering students a hands-on educational experience that transcends conventional classroom learning.

We invite you to take an onsite student-led tour and see firsthand how this project is coming to fruition. To schedule an onsite tour, learn more, or contribute to this transformative initiative, please reach out to Ann Hedges, Senior Development Officer, at 610-891-7393 or via email at ann.hedges@elwyn.org. Elwyn Connects With Local Community

Elwyn participated as both an exhibitor and attendee at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) Secondary Transition Fair. Our students engaged with over 200 participants, exploring topics like independent living, continuing education, and financial management, while building valuable community connections.

We’re so excited to be a part of the Foundation for Delaware County’s inaugural Delco Gives Day, a 24-hour giving period created to celebrate community, and to support the 200+ nonprofits who tirelessly serve our community. Stop by our table at the closing celebration for Delco Gives on Thursday, May 9 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Rose Tree Park in Media. We will be joined by elected officials, media representatives, and community members. We look forward to seeing you!
