Thank you Mayor Malik Evans!

We were honored to have a visit by Rochester's Mayor Malik Evans at Senior Lunch. The Mayor listened to concerns that our seniors had including the number of car thefts, shortage of affordable senior housing, the lack of inexpensive community spaces for senior events and the problem of neighborhood "food deserts".

The Mayor shared the many initiatives that he is working on to address these and other problems in the City, but also shared about exciting new projects like the development of the waterways in Rochester, including creating a park in the High Falls Area with access to the water.

It was a fun, uplifting & informative visit. We hope he comes again!

Speakers wanted... Share your LGBTQ+ experience with other LGBTQ+ people & allies... there will be a videographer to record this living history. All 21+ LGBTQ+ people are invited to participate.

Rainbow Dialogs: The Fight for Trans Rights

This years Rainbow Dialog presentations were fabulous, and well attended. It was a chance to hear the real history mostly omitted from history books. The discussion of the impact of intersectional bias on Trans people of color was particularly valuable. Applause to Steve Jarose, Javannah Davis and Brittan Hardgers for an event well done.
