Twiggs Gallery in Boscawen invites New Hampshire artists to enter artwork inspired by the impossible, the surreal, and the fantastical for their summer juried exhibition “When Pigs Fly.” Inspired by the idiom suggesting that something is utterly improbable, this theme encourages participants to explore the limits of imagination and break free from the constraints of reality. Silly or serious, mystical or magical, truth or fiction, political or personal, Twiggs Gallery invites broad interpretations based on the theme. And…pigs need not be involved!

Off The Cuff is a semi-acoustic instrumental and vocal quartet, interpreting 100 years of great music from the 20s to the 20s.
Off The Cuff has been delighting audiences across southern New Hampshire and surrounding areas for over 20 years. Cuff plays at the crossroads of American music, where bluegrass meets swing, jazz meets blues, and folk, rock and country become pals. Cuff blends these elements with tight vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements to "Cuff" each song, give it that Off The Cuff touch.

Facilitator Heidi Lorenz will paint alongside all, but is available for light guidance and instruction if desired. You can register and pay online in advance, or if needed Heidi can collect cash or check for the class upon arrival. Drop-ins are welcome.
