Anticipated Executive Session - 6:30 p.m. 

It is anticipated that the Board of Education will begin the meeting with an Executive Session in the JJHS Library classroom to discuss special education matters. The Executive Session meeting will be devoted to such matters and will not be opened to the public.  

Public Session - 7:30 p.m. 

The following item(s) will be presented and/or discussed during the Public Session of the May 9, 2024 Regular Meeting:

• Presentation - 2024 - 2025 Budget Public Hearing: Consistent with State law, the Board of Education will hold a Budget Hearing pertaining to the proposed 2024-2025 school year budget, which will be presented to the voters on May 21, 2024. The proposed budget can be found on the District website at www.klschools.org
• Board of Education Candidates: Board of Education candidates, Matthew Goglia, Peter Petraro, Jon Poffenberger, Marjorie Schiff and Barbara Williams, are invited to make a statement regarding their candidacy, not to exceed three (3) minutes. ***Please note, since the petition filing window has been extended until May 14, 2024 at 5:00 p.m., it is possible that candidates may appear on the ballot who are not included in the meeting when candidates provide a statement regarding their candidacy. 
• Discussion - May 21, 2024 Annual Budget Vote and Election
