Hello fellow Alamo Ranchers,

Its beginning to feel like summer! That being said the pool chiller will be ready for the hot months ahead. I want to give everyone a behind the scene glance for this presidents corner. Things that are getting done but not a lot of people come to the meetings to hear about them.
The multi purpose court company, engineer and architect submitted a plan to the board to get the land behind the pool prepped and now we're waiting on approval for our tree removal permit. Only a couple trees are being removed, don't worry!

The ARC committee has been working on updating the Design Guideline rules for the community. If you haven't noticed it's a little unorganized. They also have compiled a list of items that residents have commonly asked to modify and are adding some to the guidelines. It should be ready to be unveiled at the very latest end of summer.

Two dog stations will be installed on la vallita. One at the corner of Alamo Pkwy and la vallita and one next to the covered bench area mid la vallita. Hoping this will help with people not leaving dog waste on the sidewalks.

During the summer the board will be looking for designs for a replacement splash pad. Our current one has had too many problems to keep fixing. The board decided this winter that it was too late to get anything done before summer but will be replacing once pool season is over in the fall. Rest assured there is money set aside for this so there will be no increase in dues and no special assessments.

Of course we have lots of events coming up. Mothers day spa, May bingo, bunco and the summer bash plans are being finalize. If you would like to get involved with the community there are multiple committees to join. Reach out anytime, I'm happy to be of assistance. Hope everyone has a great rest of your week!
