Updated CAUT Guidelines Now Available

The College and University Technicians Committee of the PTG recently updated the original handbook for technicians working with colleges and universities. The latest edition is a free downloadable PDF. Download it here. The new edition includes revised information on budgeting, and qualifications and training for college and university technicians. This 21-page booklet is available to both members and non-members so that you can share the link with college administrators or others who would benefit from these resources.

PTG Academy

Eight students completed the Grand Action Regulation in 37 Steps Class in early May at the PTG Home Office. After class, they met up at a local pizzeria to end another excellent GAR37 session. Technical Exam Jigs Available

Official PTG Technical Exam Repair Jigs can now be purchased through Renner USA. These exam approved jigs can be used for administering technical exams, as technical educational tools, or as personal practice tools to prepare for the technical exam. The set includes a stringing jig, hammer jig and key jig. The jigs are designed to test required skills. Each jig is labeled with specific instructions for use in exams, educational training, and personal practice. Units are available for purchase separately or as a complete set. Logging in to your account will enable you to receive member discounts on PTG Store purchases and event registrations, access the full member directory, learn about RPT certifications and exams, access the my.ptg.org discussion groups and more. Be sure to login using your email address as your username. You can always click on Forgot Password to create a new password.
