2024 Baccalaureate Service

As we approach the end of the academic year, we are thrilled to announce that our annual Baccalaureate Service will be taking place on Sunday, June 9th during our worship service. This special event is a cherished tradition where we come together to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of our graduates of all levels (PreK - Graduate School, Doctorate, etc).

In preparation for the service, we kindly ask our graduates and their families to fill out the Google form provided below. This will help us gather information and photos to include in the service, making it a truly personalized and memorable experience for everyone.

We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone with you all and to honoring our graduates in a meaningful and heartfelt way. Let's come together as a community to show our love, support, and appreciation for our graduates as they spread their wings and soar into the future.

Praise Bags - 4th and 5th Sunday's Only

On 4th and 5th Sundays when there's no children's service, children can check out these special bags filled with coloring sheets and fidget toys to keep them engaged during the main service. With a variety of coloring sheets featuring biblical stories and characters, children can express their creativity while learning about faith. Praise Bags offer families a convenient solution for keeping children involved in the service. We're thrilled to introduce this new initiative as part of our commitment to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members of our church community. See a service host to check one out. MUST BE RETURNED AT THE END OF SERVICE.

Recycling Update: Turning Trash into Treasure!

We're thrilled to report that our recycling initiative is off to a fantastic start! Thanks to your continued support and dedication to sustainability, we've raised an impressive $120 just through recycling plastic bottles and cans. Every bottle and can collected not only helps the environment but also brings us closer to our fundraising goals for the UNITE Conference.

But we're not stopping here! We encourage everyone to keep those bottles and cans coming. Let's continue to turn trash into treasure as we work together towards our fundraising goals. Your efforts make a real difference, both for our youth attending the UNITE conference and for our planet.

  • You can drop off your recyclables to David Schroeder, who has graciously volunteered to coordinate this effort.
  • Alternatively, you can recycle your bottles and cans yourself and donate the cash proceeds to the UNITE fundraiser.

Breakfast Gathering After Hiking Event Cancellation

On April 13th, despite our anticipation for a scenic hike at Alum Rock, we were met with unexpected rain showers that forced us to cancel our outdoor plans. However, our resilient spirit prevailed as we came together for an impromptu breakfast gathering instead! We transformed a potentially disappointing situation into a heartwarming morning filled with fellowship, laughter, and delicious food. It was a reminder that even when plans change, our sense of community remains unwavering. Stay tuned for future events, rain or shine, as we continue to grow together in faith and friendship.
