This survey is a collaborative project involving over a dozen prominent education groups across the state. As AI increasingly impacts education, your insights are crucial. Spearheaded by the AI Statewide Workgroup and Michigan Virtual’s AI Lab, this initiative aims to enhance our understanding, promote ethical AI use, and identify professional development needs in schools. The survey closes May 31st.

MACUL is excited to partner with REMC and MASL to bring you the second edition of the Student Podcast Challenge. Teachers can submit their students' original podcasts by September 30, 2024 for a chance to win podcasting hardware for their classroom.

CSforMichigan will be hosting two days of focused learning, networking and in person tinkering on all things Computer Science. We hope that you block off the time on your calendars to join us for our in-depth approach to CS on October 3-4, 2024 .

REMC Courses provide an opportunity to enhance personal or professional learning by exploring technology tools and instructional practices. 

Each course is FREE, 3 weeks in length and requires 10 hours of time to complete. Work includes new learning and application of that learning within your role or capacity. Courses require at least 1 live interaction with the instructor. All courses are facilitated by Michigan educators.

In this webinar series, educators will have the opportunity to explore AI topics in a structured yet interactive environment. Led by trained facilitators, these virtual sessions will last 75 minutes each and each will cover an AI-related subject such as basic fundamentals, examining risks, best practices and ethics, and applications in education.
