MAY 2024

Visit New Horizons today!

It's spring for sure, now! The grass is growing. So much is in bloom. This is the month when it's finally safe to move houseplants outdoors. It really looks beautiful outside.

This is also a great time to drop in at New Horizons in person if you are able to. Each week we are seeing more people — including new faces — at our recently added programs and our already popular, long-running favorites. We continue to pursue our goal of making New Horizons the best center for you, our members.

May is full of activities at New Horizons: more interesting lectures, more movies, more books, more games, more exercise and mindfulness programs, birthday celebrations!...

I can't list everything here nor do any of the programming justice in only a few words, so keep reading below and also refer to the calendar and our website. Also don't forget to sign up in advance for our delicious lunches — and keep an eye out: we hope to resume community dining at the Center soon.

With such nice weather and with so much going on, now is a great time to stop by New Horizons and sample from our diverse offerings (please sign up in advance if necessary). Bring a friend with you! We are always looking to welcome new members.

If you are unable to make it in person, we will always try to welcome you via Zoom if we are able. That being said, not every program or activity works well online.

Remember: New Horizons is your community center.

Let us know how we can help you. We are here for you!!

Our Community Depends on You
