What is the Booster Club? The Booster Club is a fundraising organization of Bulldog families that supports the Athletic Department to provide our athletes with the necessary equipment and facilities to compete safely and at the highest possible level each year. The County provides Churchill with only a fraction of what it takes to fully fund the needs of our sports teams. In a typical year, the athletics budget spent per athlete (per roster spot) at Churchill is around $220, yet the County’s contribution is less than $80. The Booster Club plays a critical role in providing supplemental resources to help offset this shortfall.

If you can’t remember if you joined the Booster Club already this year, ask your Team Booster Rep or send an email to our Membership Chair, Aby Filomeno, and she will check for you! All memberships received by May 31th will be counted towards team incentive payouts in June! Help your team earn 10% of its membership dollars and $300 for achieving 100% team membership!

President: This role is great for someone who is comfortable leading a team of energetic volunteers to raise funding through Memberships, Concessions, the School Store, and Sponsorships. The President assists the Board members leading the committees, and, when needed is willing to step in and volunteer in the concession stand, encourage Booster Club membership at Meet the Teams Nights, or answer questions from local businesses about the value of sponsoring the Booster Club, for example. With such a great team of returning Board members and other seasoned volunteers likely to take on the additional open positions below, the President will be well-supported by knowledgeable and helpful volunteers as well as a top-notch Athletic Specialist. Moreover, the outgoing President will be available to help with the transition and whatever other needs many arise.
Spirit Committee Co-Chair: We have two great folks signed up to lead the Spirit Committee this year and would like one more to round out the crew. One of our chairs is a seasoned Board Member so don't be bashful if you have no experience with the Booster Club (yet)! The Spirit Committee helps coordinate Community Night games with our team parents and coaches and facilitates the senior athletes sign the Senior Wall each season.
Concessions Committee Co-Chairs: We are looking for a few more people interested in helping us keep one our most important Booster Club activities going next year! Churchill is known for having a top notch Concession Stand, and we all know how important concessions are to our fans' game day experiences!
We would love to have 2-3 more people volunteer to help manage the indoor and outdoor concession stands as a team so the time and responsibilities are manageable for all. Tasks include purchasing and stocking the stands with inventory and supplies, opening and closing the stand on game days, and coordinating and training volunteers from the relevant teams to staff the stand during games with the help of the team reps. The Concessions Committee will be well supported by organized systems and manuals created over the past 2 years, plus the availability of several past Concessions Managers willing to help with the transition and throughout the year. This is a fun way to volunteer and be at the heart of the action!
