81st General Convention Volunteers Wanted
Volunteer registrations are going well, but there are still plenty of shifts to choose from ~700. Our greatest needs are in Public Safety/Community awareness (the welcoming and human signage “committee”), the Load in/out crew as well as a variety of pages for the House of Deputies, and assisting with the Volunteer Head Quarters (VHQ). We also need people to fill the critical receptionist role for Public Safety. This role is away from the hubbub, but also in the thick of things monitoring communications and coordinating assistance as needed across the whole of the convention center with a bird's eye view of the convention floor. There are still plenty of other opportunities if those don’t suit you.
Whether you need to sit or can’t sit still, if you have a little time or a lot, there are jobs for everyone. Come on out and join us for this historic event. More information can be found on our Facebook page GC 2024 Volunteer Central here.
With Joy,
Amy Spicer
