May 2024

Message from Dean Egerstedt

As the end of the academic year is rapidly approaching, the month of May is always filled with activities in the UCI Samueli School of Engineering. Students are wrapping up their projects and our graduating seniors are balancing completing their final set of course work while also looking to their future as they leave campus in June. A snapshot of what my overpacked and fun calendar looks like this month includes the Dean’s Leadership Council meeting at the Pacific Symphony, the UCI Engineering Hall of Fame celebration at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, the E-SONIC new instrument competition, and the Beall-Butterworth Product Design Competition awards. Hope to see you at some of these events!

Best,

Magnus Egerstedt, Ph.D.
