Printer's Proof Will Be Mailed Soon
The Orono Foundation for Education is grateful for our community which values public education. People often refer to Orono Schools as a "private school at a public school price" because of the value-added programs we are able to provide. K-12 world language, STEM, Character Counts and targeted literacy training for teachers are all examples of programs which were made possible through the direct financial support of our community. Thanks to your generosity, Orono Schools are among the finest schools in the nation!
As our fiscal year comes to a close on June 30, the Orono Foundation for Education is diligently working on our 2012/2013 Annual Report. The "Printer's Proof" of the Annual Report, which lists our $250+ donors, will be mailed soon! Please take a few minutes to review our list of donors by clicking here to ensure that you are listed in the proper giving category. While the Printer's Proof listing begins at the $250+ giving level, all donors, regardless of giving level, will be listed in our online 2012/2013 Annual Report in the fall.
If you see a discrepancy or do not see your name listed in the proper giving level, contact us with changes by Tuesday, May 23 by calling 952-545-6873 or by emailing us.
It's not too late to make your donation! Donate by June 30 to be included in this year's Annual Report. Visit our website at: www.oronofoundation.org.

The Orono Foundation for Education was formed more than ten years ago by a group of visionary parents who wanted to ensure that Orono Schools would have the necessary funding to continue growing excellence in our students, teachers and curriculum. The Orono Foundation for Education founders were honored at this year's Gala for their vision and commitment to the Orono School District. We are grateful for their leadership, which has resulted in more than $4 million dollars being donated to Orono Schools since 2001. On behalf of the Orono Foundation Board and community, we thank you!

Gala Raises $200,000
for Orono Schools!
More than $200,000 was raised at this years's gala, making it one of the biggest fundraisers in the organization's history.
Every dollar raised helps lay the foundation for our kids' success by providing them the teachers, programs, and technology they need to do well in our increasingly competitive world.
Thank you to all of the parents, sponsors, community members and Orono faculty who showed their support at this year's gala!
If you attended the gala and would like an electronic receipt of your transactions, click here.

"Excellence Has a Price" Video
Please take a few minutes to view the Orono Foundation for Education video, which explores the many ways in which Orono Schools are unique.
As Superintendent Dr. Karen Orcutt describes, "Values, such as fortitude, relationships and excellence live very deep within the school district. They are values that the school district was founded on and they are values that are being lived out every day in this district."
The private dollars that you give help Orono Schools bridge the gap between what public funding can provide and what our community demands for our children's education. Together, we work to ensure the continued success of our school, which improves the education of every student in Orono!

Matching Gifts Double Your Impact!
Looking for a way to double your money?
Many companies and foundations value their employees' charitable giving by offering a matching gift program. This often means that companies will match your gift at a 1:1 ratio. Some companies even offer volunteer grants by making a monetary donation as a match for employees' volunteer work.
Email us
about volunteer
opportunities or with your questions about matching gifts.
Matching gifts double the impact of your gift and you will be recognized at the higher giving level.
It's a win-win situation for all!
