The TSET Healthy Living Program is working alongside the Purcell Police Department, the City of Purcell, and Purcell Public Schools to host the 2nd Annual Play Streets Events! The last Play Streets took place pre-covid and many of our community members have been asking for a return of the event.
For those of you who are not familiar with Play Streets, they will shut down part of the drive on the south end of their building (919 N. 9th Ave-where the Library/School/Health Department is located) and open the area up for children to come play. We are looking for volunteers like yourself to help with the event! They need a variety of activities, water, and of course---- just you as volunteers! Last time, some of our volunteers brought SWAG for the kids as well. The kids loved the frog togs-those were a hit!
TSET will bring items for sack races, and they have a few basketballs, soccer balls, kick balls. They will also have sunglasses and jump ropes to give-a-way.
Other items they are looking for:
Hula hoop
Chalk
Bubbles
Rubber Bases (for Kickball)
Sticky Paddles
Water
And more!
And they could always use more:
Basketballs
Footballs
Jump Ropes
