Family Promise Training Refresher


Tomorrow! Tuesday, May 14, 6:00pm

Family Promise exists to prevent and end homelessness for families with children, helping them achieve sustainable independence. In the next few weeks, we will begin hosting families. If you are interested in playing a vital role in this new ministry please attend this refresher course (perfect for new volunteers as well as those who came to training in 2023). Childcare is provided!

Volunteers Needed at Pleasant Grove Elementary Field Day


Monday, May 20, 7:50am-1:45pm

Our church has the honor of serving as a Partner in Education with many local schools, including Pleasant Grove Elementary. Volunteers are needed at their upcoming Field Day to assist with games and help students play with respect and fairness.


You may choose to volunteer all day (7:50am-1:45pm) or part of the day. The highest concentration of volunteers is needed between 10:30am – Noon.


There are two steps to volunteering:

  1. Contact Mrs. Tapparo to let her know you're coming and when. Email stapparo@ecsdfl.us or call 850 806 5456.
  2. Print and fill out the form using the button below. If you have volunteered at Pleasant Grove this school year, you may skip step 2.

Meatloaf Challenge for Bright Bridge!

If you’d like to help support Bright Bridge Ministries from your own kitchen, we have an opportunity to provide lunch for up to 250 people. New Sermon Series: Fishing and Faith


Beginning next Sunday, May 19

Some of Jesus’ first disciples were fisherman. From the beginning of His ministry, He has shown a connection between fishing and faith with topics such as preparation, patience, stillness, community, storytelling, and navigating rough waters.

Sewing for a Cause! Bi-monthly Meetings and Sew-a-thon Coming Soon!

Friday, June 28, 9:30am-4:00pm

Calling all ladies with sewing talents or those interested in learning more! Our quilting group, "Quilters on the Key," has an opportunity for you to use your time and energy creatively and show God's love in a tangible way. 


In addition to our regular meetings on the first and third Thursdays at 9:30am, we are organizing a day long “Sew-a-thon!" Join us Friday, June 28 in the Activities Center for a day full of sewing so that we can be prepared to provide handmade items of warmth and comfort for those who may be in need. Experienced sewers will be available to help beginners! Kits will be available which include materials and patterns.


Breakfast, lunch, and drinks will be provided. Please bring your sewing machine and basic notions (scissors, thread, etc). We appreciate any help that you can provide - 2 or 5 hrs! RSVP at the Hospitality Desk or to Renee in the church office at 850 492 2135 or email renee@perdidobay.church if you are able to help with this necessary project as we continue to be the Heart of the Community.

Grumpy Old Men Group: Join us!

Come and be a part of the Grumpy Old Men - a service oriented group that meets each Thursday at 8:00am in the Activities Center for fellowship and planning projects. We would love to have you join us- young or old, man or woman!

Barnabas Meal Ministry


Going through a challenging time? The Barnabas Ministry exists to provide meals for those who are facing heath difficulties, loss, or other life challenges. Transformance Fitness



Transformance is a strength training class for children and adults that takes place each Monday and Thursday in the Activities Center at various times throughout the day. $75/month or $15/day. See more by visiting our website.

Activities Center Yoga

Tuesdays weekly


If you are looking for a way to build strength, flexibility, and balance, come check out the Tuesday morning yoga classes available in our gym. Becca Schmidt offers Gentle Yoga from 8:30-9:45am and Chair Yoga from 10:00-11:00am. All classes are on a drop-in basis. The cost is $5 for Gentle Yoga and $3.50 for Chair Yoga. Please bring your own yoga mat and beach towel, and wear comfortable attire. No matter your age, you can find a class that suits your needs. If you have any questions, contact the church office to be connected with Becca!  

Quilters on the Key

1st & 3rd Thursdays, 9:30am-12:30pm


You're invited to join this group for a time of fellowship and quilting in the Activities Center. Quilts and other items are crafted and given to persons facing difficult situations as a gesture of comfort and thoughtfulness. Use your talents to spread the love of God as part of this important group of service and fellowship.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 2:00-4:00pm


The Prayer Shawl Ministry exists to knit and crochet blankets and other items of comfort and encouragement. These items are given to newborn babies, those facing health issues, and more. Come and be a part of this group of fellowship and giving- all are welcome! It's a wonderful time of getting to know others while also making a difference for those who need to feel God's care.

Intercessory Prayer Group Meeting

Tuesdays at 8:30am


You are invited to join our intercessors in the Gathering Lobby for their weekly prayer meeting. If you have a prayer need that you would like to add to the prayer list, email it to prayer@perdidobay.church or you may use our App to submit your prayer request. Additionally, you may fill out a prayer request card at the Hospitality Desk. 


Prayer lists are available to be picked up at the Hospitality Desk.

Nursery, Elementary, & Youth Information

Nursery (8 weeks - Pre-K)


A nursery is available for all church services and many activities. Wee Worship takes place Sunday mornings during Worship Services. Preschool Sunday school is at 10:00am. Contact jeanne@perdidobay.church for more information!

PBUMC Kids Ministry (Elementary: K - 5th Grade)


PBUMC Kids Ministry is for children in Kindergarten through 5th Grades. Each Sunday morning is Children's Worship at both 9:00am and 11:00am. At 10:00am we have Sunday School. Email elementary@perdidobay.church to be placed on our email list so that you can stay up to date about upcoming activities.

The Wave Student Ministry (for 6th-12th Grades)
