Happy Friday, everyone!
It was another beautiful week here at Bosco, but man was it fast. The picture for next year is getting more clear as far as personnel goes. It will continue to take shape over the next few weeks. As of now, I’m comfortable sharing with you that we will need to fill full time teacher roles at:
- PreK
- Kindergarten
- Office Staff (Kateri has just graduated with her Masters in OT. Congrats Kateri!)
- Long Term Substitute (1 full school year) Art Teacher
I already have options available for all of these positions, so I’m hoping to build the candidate pool over the next week or so. Please share leads with me to pursue, and pray for the right candidates to come forward. As you know, our teachers and staff are the lifeblood of this place. They push us all to be better thinkers, better citizens, and better children of God.
I trust the kids have told you some stories about Ascension Thursday. The response has been overwhelmingly positive. God was good to us to provide a beautiful sunny day to spend it outside.
I’m going to close with an article by Dr. Leonard Sax. Some of you may know him as the best selling author of books such as The Collapse of Parenting, Boys Adrift, Girls on the Edge, and Why Gender Matters. I’ve had plenty of discussions with parents around their children, what makes them tick, and what their likes and dislikes are. I’m impressed by the number of parents here that understand what this article is reaching for. I hope all of you take a look at this two minute article, because it certainly packs a punch!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of our Mothers, both living and deceased. I especially ask for prayers for my own mother, who died in 2004, and especially for the repose of Elizabeth Yu’s soul, who was such a loving and caring mother for her three little boys.
In Him,
Andy
