PREVENTING TICK BITES
- WALK IN THE CENTER of trails when hiking, avoid tall grassy and green areas.
- USE a DEET-BASED REPELANT on all exposed areas of skin.
- WEAR CLOSED-TOE SHOES and TUCK your PANTS into your shoes.
- WEAR LIGHT COLORED CLOTHES (easier to see ticks).
- SHOWER after spending time outside and do a FULL BODY CHECK (use a mirror to see body parts not in sight)
