It means entering a relationship with another person with the intention of honoring their beliefs, customs, and values. It means acknowledging differences and accepting that person for who they are." Lunch will be provided. We look forward to seeing you there! Click here to register for our Tuesday, May 14 kick-off from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Bosler Memorial Library!

We recently reviewed our policy agendas through the lens of Health Equity and our strategic plan. Three updated agendas are now available:
- Health Begins with Homes
- Raise the Minimum Wage to Improve Health
- Economic Policy is Health Policy
The Partnership for Better Health’s advocacy efforts illustrate our dedication to being a responsible participant in the development of health policies.
The Partnership recognizes that changing policies at the local, state and federal levels can create changes in systems. These systemic policy improvements can lead to improved health for larger populations and advance health equity. Having a place to call home and improved economic status have direct relationships with a person’s health, known as “social determinants of health."
Contact Carol Thornton, Interim Executive Director, with questions related to policy advocacy at the Partnership for Better Health (Carol@ForBetterHealthPA.org).
