The Massachusetts Educational Technology Administrators Association (METAA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Flanagan as its new Executive Director. Flanagan brings a wealth of experience in K-12 education technology in the Commonwealth and nationally, including leadership positions at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE).
“We are pleased to welcome Jim as our new Executive Director. His appointment signals significant growth of our organization” said Jim Sullivan, President of the METAA Board of Directors. “Flanagan's expertise and vision will enhance our advocacy and support of educational technology administrators across Massachusetts.”
Flanagan added, “I am honored to serve METAA’s selfless volunteers, the collaborative network of edtech leaders, and sponsor organizations as we confront challenges and opportunities in areas like cybersecurity, digital equity, and AI - all in support of educators.”
